2023 Pilot Research Grants
In October 2023, the Stanford Center for Digital Health announced the recipients of the inaugural CDH Pilot Grant Awards. These one-year grants of $50,000 were awarded to projects relating to digital health in the following research areas:
- Improved recruitment and retention of vulnerable and hard-to-reach or minority populations in clinical research
- Management of chronic diseases
- Improved care for patients with rare diseases
- Addressing global public health challenges
- Mental health across the lifespan
- Maternal and child health
With over 80 applications received, the Stanford Center for Digital Health was thrilled to award funding to five impressive projects. Two of these projects were co-funded with the Stanford Maternal & Child Health Research Institute (MCHRI).
Development and Validation of an Incidental Atherosclerotic Risk Score using Already-Acquired Abdominal Computed Tomography Scan
