Our Mission
At the Stanford Center for Digital Health (CDH), we believe in leveraging the power of technology and innovation to improve people’s lives. We aim to bring the best and brightest minds of Stanford, Silicon Valley, and the world together to solve the most pressing questions in a way that is scientifically rigorous and ethically sound.
In partnership with Silicon Valley innovators as well as colleagues throughout the university-and across fields of engineering, computer science, medicine, business, and the humanities-the Center for Digital Health develops tools and approaches that improve health not only for Stanford patients but for all people worldwide. We prioritize underlying core values of ethics, inclusion, and accessibility, bringing together a global perspective and a rigorous scientific approach.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be at the forefront of digital health innovation, research, and implementation. We intend to reach these goals by building bridges across diverse communities of scientists to promote team science and collaboration. We plan to catalyze groundbreaking research to expand the use of digital tools in addressing major health care challenges worldwide. Our collaborations will involve researchers from diverse disciplines including medicine, bioengineering, law, and policy, and will incorporate the expertise of industry leaders.
